As a Church, We came together to learn together, and to be of one voice and one mind in HIM. We divided into 16 teams, each team taking an attribute. We included our children, the young adults and our college adults.
Through 10 weeks, We spent hours: (1) examining the Greek roots of Strong’s definition of these attributes; (2) developing modern parables to both illustrate and deepen our understanding of Charity; (3) exploring Jesus’ words in Red as pertaining to each attribute; and over this period of time, (4) creating songs in praise of this vibrant and new understanding.
WE BEGAN WITH A PRAYER: each team composing 8 heartfelt verses, then – together – combining all 128 verses into one psalm: The Psalm of Charity.
